    Ron's Acting Journey

As a professional actor, Ron’s journey began at eleven years of age when he was cast in Peter Pan. Since that time, he has appeared in various stage, commercial, television, and film roles. On stage, he’s played a wide variety of memorable characters such as The Artful Dodger in Oliver, Tom Sawyer in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, and Red Ryder in When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder. At the age of sixteen, he booked his first co-starring role in a movie entitled Fyre, and by the time he was twenty, Ron moved to Hollywood to pursue his career full time.

Ron immediately immersed himself in the actor’s life. He began working on his craft with some of the most notable acting teachers of the time, including Oscar-winning actress Nina Foch, acclaimed acting teacher Milton Katselas, and award-winning director and teacher, Glenn Casale. Ron was also a regular at the notable Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop. Bill Bixby directed Ron in a pilot for Lorimar TV, The Best of Times, and he played the nemesis, Norman, in a movie entitled The Big Bet.

Early on, Ron landed a full-time gig playing Young Conan in a ground-breaking live show at Universal Studios, Hollywood. “Conan, a Sword and Sorcery Spectacular” was the first of its kind, special effects theater presentation. Millions of audience members from around the world enjoyed the show for ten years. Additionally, Ron played Sonny Crocket in the “Miami Vice Action Spectacular,” yet another ground-breaking live stunt show at Universal Studios. Many of the stunt performers in this show went on to stunt double the most notable A-list actors in Hollywood.

During this time of studying, auditioning, and working as an actor, Ron booked a co-starring role in one of the most iconic films in Hollywood history: The Karate Kid. His role as Bobby Brown, the “good” Cobra Kai, is near and dear to the millions of fans worldwide. Having had such a cultural and multigenerational impact, The Karate Kid has spawned a hit show now decades later. “Cobra Kai” stars original cast members and is an acclaimed series currently streaming on Netflix. Always wanting to steer others in the right direction, Ron’s character, Bobby Brown, is now a pastor on the show.

    Cobra Kai never die!

In addition to his expertise in front of the camera, Ron is also a screenwriter and a world-class fight choreographer.
